Project Brief – Restaurant Transformation
WonderFloors was commissioned to carry out a full flooring transformation for both the front-of-house and back-of-house areas in Jalalabad, a popular Indian restaurant in Gosport, Hampshire. The goal was to upgrade durability, hygiene, and aesthetics across the entire venue—creating a seamless blend of functionality and style.
Front of House – Modern Dining Experience
In the dining area, WonderFloors replaced the old wooden laminate with a premium, elegant finish that enhances the ambience of the space. The new flooring brings out rich tones and a warm, welcoming character that complements the restaurant’s décor while providing increased durability and easier long-term maintenance.

Back of House – Heavy-Duty Kitchen Upgrade
In the kitchen, WonderFloors removed the worn, stained, and uneven tile flooring and replaced it with a robust, seamless quartz system designed for hygiene and durability. The new surface is easier to clean, resistant to spills, and built to withstand the demands of a busy commercial kitchen, ensuring improved safety and efficiency for the staff.

Summary
Through this project, WonderFloors successfully transformed both the customer-facing and operational areas of the restaurant. The front-of-house now boasts a luxurious, modern aesthetic with a striking resin entrance and refined dining-area flooring, while the back-of-house benefits from a cleaner, safer, and more durable kitchen surface. Together, these upgrades enhance the restaurant’s overall appearance, functionality, and long-term performance—delivering a complete flooring solution that supports both style and practicality.
